Mickey Kuhn was appointed, for the second time, by the Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon on 21 February 2017.
Miki has served as Head of the Finance Division in the Bank of Israel’s Research Department since June 2013. Among his previous positions at the Bank of Israel, he served as Head of the Research Department’s Financial Stability Area and Head of the Capital Markets Unit of the Monetary Department.
Kahn has participated in various committees and teams engaged in financial matters, including serving as coordinator of an inter-institutional committee to identify systemic risks, member of the Public Committee on Market Making on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, and member of the Securities Trading Committee of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. He also participated in several IMF and World Bank consultative and technical assistance teams to central banks
Miki Kahn has a BA in Economics and an MA in Finance from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and is a lecturer at the Business Management Department at Ben-Gurion University and at the Department of Economics and Management.
