Michal Akavia, Adv.

An attorney since 1999.

A member of the Securities Authority Board of Governors from 2006 until 2009, and in 2019 she was appointed for a second term.

Since 2017, she has been a senior deputy legal adviser at the Ministry of Finance.

From 2011 until 2017, the legal adviser to the Knesset Administration.

From 1999 until 2017, an attorney in the legal bureau in the Ministry of Finance; since 2007, deputy legal adviser at the Ministry of Finance.

Authored part of Tanna Shepnitz's book Conflicts of Interest in the Public Sector, Practice and Theory (Bursi Publications), dealing with conflicts of interests in tenders (pp. 427-492 in the book).

She holds a masters degree in law from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, cum laude.

She holds an undergraduate degree in law from Tel Aviv University, cum laude.
